Some cars are just cars. The Mazda MX-5 has never been one of them.

From the moment the NA arrived in 1989 — lightweight, honest, joyful — it redefined what a sports car could be. Not the fastest, not the most powerful, but the most alive. The NB refined it. The NC matured it. And then came the ND. Lighter again. Sharper. More focused. A car that felt like Mazda had remembered exactly why they built it in the first place.

The idea for Roadster Concept came during a visit to Japan. Walking the streets, seeing the culture, the precision, the obsession with doing things properly — and discovering that in Japan, our car carries a different name entirely. Not the MX-5. The Roadster. A name that speaks to everything the car represents — open roads, pure driving, the wind in your face and nothing between you and the road ahead.

That name stayed with us. And so did the question — why weren't there accessories worthy of it?

Mesh wind deflectors that obscure your already limited rear view. Generic brackets that look nothing like the precision of the car they attach to. Products that belong on a different car entirely. We decided to do something about it.

Every Roadster Concept product is designed, developed and fulfilled here in the UK. We work with British manufacturers who share our obsession with quality and precision. When your order arrives, everything inside — from the wind deflector panel to the packaging — has been touched by someone who cares about getting it right.

We are proud to put Made in the UK on everything we make. In a market flooded with generic imports, that means something.

Why Roadster?

In Japan, the MX-5 is the Roadster. It always has been. That name inspired ours.

Roadster Concept — ロードスター・コンセプト — is our commitment to building accessories that are worthy of that name. Products that look like they belong on the car. That perform like they were engineered for it. Because they were.

This is just the beginning

The wind deflector is our first product. It won't be our last. We are building a range of premium accessories for the ND — each one designed with the same obsessive attention to detail, manufactured to the same standard, and made for owners who refuse to compromise.
